Event summary

ICAS is presenting the keynote speech alongside the Scottish Government on the second day of the Tax Research Network Annual Conference 2022.

The session, aimed at both academics and practitioners, will tell the story of tax devolution so far by examining it from both a policymaking and practitioner angle. This will include an assessment of the current competences of the Scottish Parliament when it comes to taxes in Scotland, as well as some of the impacts that recent policy changes have had on the law and how we administer taxes.

The event will be followed by a reception with refreshments, providing a rare an opportunity for practitioners and academics to discuss tax and network.

ICAS would like to invite Members with an interest in devolved taxation to attend both the keynote speech and drinks reception. Places are limited, so please book your place early.
